Cây Hàm tiếu hay dạ hợp hương tên khoa học: Michelia fuscata, thuộc họ ngọc lan Magnoliaceae; nguồn gốc Châu Á.

Cây hàm tiếu là cây thân gỗ, bụi thấp, cao khoảng 1 – 4m, nhiều cành, tán không rộng. Lá cây hàm tiếu là lá đơn, mọc đối, thuôn nhọn, dày, nhẵn; mặt trên màu đậm hơn mặt dưới.

Cây hàm tiếu cho hoa lưỡng tính, màu trắng hoặc ngà, có thể có vệt màu tím, 5 hoặc 6 cánh, mùi thơm như chuối chín; đài hoa có lông mịn.

Cây hàm tiếu sinh trưởng tốt trong điều kiện bình thường. Cây hàm tiếu có thể được trồng trong chậu, bồn lớn, trên đất; lấy bóng mát, trang trí và làm đẹp cảnh quan sân vườn, lối đi, quán cà phê, công viên…
